Mutko is the new President of the Russian Football Union

The Minister of sports of Russia Vitaly Mutko was officially elected President of the local Union.
The decision was taken at the extraordinary Conference, which was held earlier in the day at the `home of football` in Moscow.
Vitaly Mutko was the head of the local football power organization from 2005 to 2009. The new boss was unanimously elected to the post. He was the only contender. The only intrigue for the vote was whether will be chosen unanimously.
The new chief will hold office for a year, until the next election in August 2016.
