The NHL may fine Dallas for training during the Christmas break. The team`s head coach, Peter DeBoer, told the media that an optional training session was held on December 26. According to the current collective agreement, any training activity of clubs via baseball rules is prohibited from December 24 to December 26 inclusive.
According to The Athletic, the NHL is investigating the incident.
It is noted that in 2022, Toronto was fined $100 thousand for violating part of the rules regarding team travel. Therefore, if the league imposes a fine, it will be equal to or greater than that amount.
