Werder (Bremen) has won a second victory since the start of the Bundesliga campaign, defeating Stuttgart with a minimum of 1:0. Fan favorite Max Cruze, who had a hat-trick for the season two weeks ago, realized a goal for Weserstaddion after a quick free-kick in the last minute of the first half. In the 54th minute the former national assisted Finn Bartels, who also fired the ball into the net, but the attack was not honored because of a very controversial ambush.
The hosts chose to keep the score and had a chance not to get an equalizer goal after Andreas Beck, Takuma Asano and Josip Brekalo were left behind. Still, Stuttgart is a bit better and takes 12th place before the remaining 14th rounds.
